Ooch's Perfectly IMPERFECT Show
Ooch's Perfectly IMPERFECT Show is a 60-minute performance that helps manage kids’ stress around the topic of perfection - specifically, kids' need and EXPECTATION to get things perfect the FIRST time around.
This show will reframe this stressful issue by instead, focusing on doing our best and at the same time being satisfied with the results of our BEST EFFORTS.
It's worth noting that this performance makes a very important distinction between being PERFECT and being GREAT - One is quite literally impossible while the other is completely achievable.
During this performance Ooch talks about his choice to strive for GREATNESS rather than perfection because he's discovered that when he tries to be perfect, he's often times left feeling disappointed or frustrated. Seriously, trying to be perfect takes the fun out of everything. When he focuses on being GREAT (by "doing his best to do his best"), he's realized that every step along the way is a positive step closer to greatness, and that feels . . . great!
